An open table social lets guests move between activities and conversation. Short rotations work well when colleagues want to try several tables or meet people outside their usual group. No previous experience is needed.
A welcome from your organisation can come before the first session, with a pause for dinner or speeches later. Hosts explain the activities, help new arrivals find a place and bring each session to a close. People who prefer to watch can stay with their friends without being put on the spot.

Space to play and space to talk
The layout needs room behind each table for the host, space for guests and a route through to seating and refreshments. Table numbers depend on how many people will join at once. For a larger guest list, rotations keep the activity moving without filling every part of the room with equipment.
Choose the look
Art Deco shapes and warm lighting can carry a Gatsby evening. A Hollywood entrance might pair a red carpet with a photo wall. Company colours can appear in a backdrop or table details for a client reception. These are styling options to build around your table selection.
Bring your venue into the plan.
Send a floor plan or a few room dimensions if you have them. Door widths, stairs, lift access and unloading space affect which tables will fit. We also need to know when the team can set up and collect equipment.
Table surfaces and walkways need enough light for guests to see comfortably. Seating, quieter conversation areas and any access needs belong in the room plan too. A microphone may help with a group welcome in a larger space.
