Meet Meeple provides offline event production and themed entertainment for adult corporate and private gatherings. A casino theme is a visual and social format for a hosted event. It is not an offer to operate or participate in licensed casino gambling.
How the activities work
Casino-style tables use play chips or points with no cash value. No real money is staked. Chips cannot be bought for gambling, cashed out or exchanged for goods, and no cash or real-world-value prize is awarded based on play. Our service does not include betting, an online casino, a gambling account or a wallet.
Hosts introduce the activities, explain the rules and help guests take part at a comfortable pace. Play is a means of conversation and light entertainment. An organiser must not add buy-ins, cash pools, valuable rewards or other arrangements that change the stated format. If you have an idea involving rewards, discuss it with us before making announcements or collecting funds.
Our adult-event policy
Our 20+ age restriction is a business policy for this adult-themed, non-gambling event service. New Zealand’s legal minimum age for entry to licensed casino gambling areas is also 20, but that separate rule does not make a Meet Meeple themed event a licensed casino activity. We do not claim a gambling licence.
The organiser is responsible for communicating our policy in guest information and coordinating any agreed age checks. Venue-specific age, access and alcohol rules may add requirements. Tell us about the venue and guest group during planning so these arrangements are understood before booking.
A comfortable way to participate
Taking part in a hosted activity should be a choice. We can discuss seating, clear instructions, breaks and a conversation area as part of the event layout. Guests who prefer not to join the tables should have a practical way to enjoy the wider gathering. Let us know about access or communication needs early so we can confirm suitable arrangements with the venue.
The service is scoped for up to 100 guests and programmes of up to six hours. Table numbers, hosts and rotations depend on the group and usable space. These are agreed in the proposal; a large guest count does not imply that everyone will be seated at an activity at once.
Venue conduct and practical arrangements
Guests must follow reasonable host instructions and venue rules. We coordinate the activity layout, access and delivery responsibilities with the organiser and venue. Where behaviour or conditions create a safety concern, an activity may need to pause while the issue is addressed.
Alcohol, if part of the wider event, must be supplied and managed through the appropriate licensed venue, caterer or special licence arrangement. It is not automatically included in a Meet Meeple package, and this website does not represent Meet Meeple as an alcohol licensee. The host and venue should have clear responsibilities for guest welfare and service decisions.
